The property of drug offender Promes was seized in the Netherlands

The Dutch prosecutor’s office has seized nine properties belonging to convicted Spartak Moscow football player Quincy Promes. De Telegraaf reports this.

We are talking about luxury residential real estate in Almere, Amsterdam, Utrecht and Abkud. The cost of the objects is estimated at millions of euros. Now Promes cannot sell them.

On February 14, an Amsterdam court sentenced Promes in absentia to six years in prison. According to investigators, in 2019 the forward was involved in transporting a large amount of cocaine belonging to Surinamese drug trafficker Piet Wartel.

Promes returned to Spartak on February 25, 2021. Before that, he played for the red and white from 2014 to 2018, becoming the champion of Russia and the winner of the country’s Super Cup with the team.
