A spectacular surrender at KSW 65. “What a crazy fight!” [WIDEO]

Damian Piwowarczyk’s fight with Marek Doussis opened the main page of the KSW 65 gala. Piwowarczyk made his debut in 63, while for his rival the fight in Gliwice was to be the first in this federation. The German with Greek roots could boast a record of 7-0 for this fight, and he finished all fights ahead of time.

Doussis had such a plan also for the fight against Piwowarczyk. he started aggressively and threw the Pole twice on the mat. The Pole, however, defended himself well by going to the clinch. Then Piwowarczyk beat the opponent’s body with more blows and he even managed to send him to the boards, but Doussis somehow survived until the end of the first round. But he was battered and tired.

Piwowarczyk’s great fight. Effective surrender

In the second round, Piwowarczyk hit the German again, this time with his knee, but Doussis did not fall over. so he began to look for an opportunity to surrender. First, he tried to strangle his opponent, but he still didn’t tap. However, a moment later the German had no choice – Piwowarczyk successfully put a lever on his elbow and Doussis was fed up. “What a crazy fight!” – we read on the federation’s Twitter. It was Piwowarczyk’s fifth fight in his professional career. Pole aims for the belt in light heavyweight.

The 65th KSW gala continues. The fight of the evening will be the long-awaited duel with Roberto Soldic. For the Pole, it will be a return to the KSW cage after more than a year’s break. The last duel took place on October 10, 2020 at the KSW 55 gala in the Atlas Arena in Łódź. He then defeated British Scott Askham in the second leg by KO in the first round. Soldić, on the other hand, was last seen in a cage in September at the KSW 63 gala. The Croat then defeated the Czech Patrik Kincla through TKO and defended his championship belt in light heavyweight.

In the co-main event of the gala we will see a duel for the KSW championship belt in featherweight. Salhadine Parnasse will compete for him with Daniel Torres, who was supposed to defend the title, but did not meet the weight limit. This means that even if the Austrian wins, he will not get it back. However, if Salhadine Parnasse wins the duel, he will become the new KSW champion.
