Mohammedan footballer Evgeny Kozlov said that India pleasantly surprised him
Russian football player Evgeny Kozlov spoke about his performance in the Indian Championship as part of the Mohammedan team from Kolkata. His words are quoted by “Championship”.
The athlete said that the exotic country pleasantly surprised him. “It’s a different world. People’s mentality, nutrition. There are so many different aspects that are different from our culture. Life is in full swing here. I would call it vain,” he shared his impressions, adding that life in Russia is much calmer.
Kozlov is a student of the Sergiev Posad Youth Sports School. He is known for his performances for the reserve team of St. Petersburg Zenit, Spartak Jurmala and a number of Kazakh clubs.
The footballer also played two matches for the Russian youth teams under 18 and 19 years old, where he did not show any useful actions. He took part in six games for the Russian national under-21 team, in which he scored one goal.
