Russian figure skater Mozalev said that he was always afraid of Tutberidze’s gaze
Russian figure skater Andrei Mozalev spoke about his fear of the honored coach of Russia Eteri Tutberidze. His words are quoted by TASS.
“I was always afraid of Eteri Georgievna’s gaze, but in fact she is a very good person, cheerful and with a good sense of humor,” said the athlete, who joined the coach’s group in January 2024. Mozalev noted that he was well received in the new team and he is preparing for the Spartakiad.
Previously, from the age of 8, Mozalev trained in St. Petersburg with Kirill Davydenko. According to the skater, he decided to change headquarters because of moral feelings, and not because of sporting results.
20-year-old Mozalev is the world junior champion. At the adult level, he became a prize-winner at the Grand Prix stages and took third place at the national championship.
