The Russian-Ukrainian team Team Spirit won the Counter-Strike 2 tournament

The Russian-Ukrainian team Team Spirit won the Intel Extreme Masters tournament in the game Counter-Strike 2 in Katowice, Poland. Results are available in X tournament.

In the decisive match, Team Spirit was stronger than the European team FaZe Clan with a score of 3:0. The winners received $400,000 out of a total prize pool of one million dollars.

Team Spirit includes Russians Leonid chopper Vishnyakov, Boris magixx Vorobiev, Danil donk Kryshkovets, Dmitry sh1ro Sokolov and Ukrainian Miroslav zont1x Plahot.

On January 18, it became known that two Russian Team Spirit players would miss the BLAST Premier: Spring Groups 2024 CS2 tournament in Denmark due to visa problems. Danil donk Kryshkovets and Boris magixx Vorobyov were unable to compete in the team. They were replaced by Team Spirit academy player Oleg baz Kulinich and coach Sergei hally Shavaev.
