The meeting against Sochi ended with a score of 8:1. Among the winners, Sergei Tolchinsky (double), Alex Galchenyuk (double), Vasily Glotov, Marat Khairullin (double) and Artem Zemchenok scored goals. The match was attended by 21,481 spectators, which is a league record for indoor venues.
On February 10, Russian striker Nikolai Goldobin became the absolute record holder for Spartak Moscow in the number of points scored in one season. The 28-year-old hockey player set a unique achievement in the KHL, scoring a goal and making an effective pass in the regular season match against the Kazakh Barys.
