Qatar national team player Afif performed a card trick during the Asian Cup final
Qatar forward Akram Afif performed a magic trick during the final match of the 2024 Asian Cup against the Jordan national team. “Championship” reports this.
The 27-year-old converted a penalty in the 22nd minute to give Qatar the lead. Afif celebrated the goal by performing a card trick. Akram took out a deck of cards from his leggings. He then showed his image on the card, shook the card and the image changed.
The meeting took place at the Lusail Ikonik Stadium in Qatar and ended with a score of 3:1 in favor of the hosts. Afif scored a hat-trick among the winners. Al-Namat scored the only goal for the Jordanians. Thus, the Qatar national team won the Asian Cup for the second time in history.
Since 2018, Afif has been playing for the Qatari Al-Sadd. He is also known for playing for the Belgian side Eupen.
