Hockey player Goldobin became Spartak’s record holder for most points in a season
Russian striker Nikolai Goldobin became the absolute record holder for Spartak Moscow in the number of points scored in one season. Statistics are available on the website of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL).
The 28-year-old hockey player set a unique achievement in the KHL, scoring a goal and making an effective pass in the regular season match against the Kazakh Barys. Thus, he now has 72 points (35+37). Previously, the record belonged to Alexander Kozhevnikov, who scored 71 points (43+28).
The meeting between Spartak and Barys ended with a score of 4:1 in favor of the Muscovites. In addition to Goldobin, forwards Alexander Pashin, Maxim Tsyplakov and Ansel Galimov scored goals among the winners.
Spartak secured a ticket to the KHL playoffs. After 62 matches, the team is in third place in the Western Conference of the tournament, with 82 points. The leader is St. Petersburg SKA, which has 85 points in 61 matches.
