Spartak lost to Rostov in a friendly match in the UAE
Moscow Spartak suffered a crushing defeat from Rostov in a friendly match. This was reported by a Lenta.ru correspondent.
The meeting took place on Wednesday, February 7, in the UAE and ended with a score of 3:0 in favor of the Rostovites. Evgeny Chernov, Nikolay Komlichenko and Kirill Shchetinin scored goals among the winners.
Earlier, the USSR champion as part of Spartak Moscow, Evgeniy Lovchev, predicted a change in the club’s head coach. “If the coach starts talking about the need to gain experience, that he has a young team, the guys are progressing, he doesn’t have much time left in the team, but you shouldn’t expect results,” said the red-and-white legend.
The current season in the Russian Premier League (RPL) will resume in early March. “Rostov” after 18 rounds is in tenth place. Spartak is in fifth place.
