The Alaves has not been able to surprise the Rayo Vallecano (2-0), the best home team in LaLiga Santander (8 wins and a draw), and they return to Vitoria-Gasteiz with a deserved defeat after having a bad first half in which they have received both goals of the match from the forward’s hand Sergi guardiola and the central Alejandro Catena,
The first goal came at 18 minutes. The Argentinian Oscar Trejo made a pass to the back of the centrals that he took advantage of Alvaro Garcia to get to the bottom line on the left and put a center that Sergi guardiola, in the small area, he finished at will.
Seven minutes later Trejo he threw a corner from the right that Alejandro Catena, rising before the defenders of Alavés, he finished off from head to goal.
The second half was somewhat better for the Vitorians, but the locals controlled the situation at all times and gave the Vitorians hardly any options to be able to overcome the game.
With this defeat, the men of Calleja remain on the edge of the descent, while those of Iraola they remain firm in the European posts.
