Coach Tarasova left the plane and is heading to the hotel after the accident
Honored Coach of the USSR Tatyana Tarasova and other Russian figure skaters safely left the plane that rolled off the runway in Saransk. RIA Novosti reports this.
According to the source, passengers are heading to the hotel. It is noted that there were no casualties. The Transport Prosecutor’s Office will check the circumstances of the incident.
The fact that the plane with Tarasova and the skaters had an accident, sharply turning into a mountain of snow, became known earlier on February 5. Also on board were Alexey Tikhonov, Svetlana Sokolovskaya, commentator Alexander Grishin, and employees of Channel One, who flew to the city to work at the Russian Junior Championships.
As specified, passengers could not leave the plane for at least 30 minutes, while airport services cleared the snow. According to one of the passengers, everyone left the plane safely.
