Rostov midfielder Danil Glebov admitted that he dreams of playing in Europe
Midfielder of Rostov and the Russian national team Danil Glebov admitted that he dreams of playing in Europe. He told Sport24 about his desire.
“It’s hard for me to answer the question of what I see as my next step in my career. Of course, I would like to try my hand at Europe,” he said, adding that he currently has no offers from abroad.
Glebov has been playing for Rostov since 2019. This season he has played in 24 matches in all competitions, scored one goal and provided one assist. As part of the Russian national team, the midfielder played ten matches without scoring any goals.
Earlier, the head coach of the Russian national team and Rostov, Valery Karpin, called on Russian players to leave for European clubs. He explained that he feels the difference between the level of football players who play in Europe and those who remain at home.
