Ecuadorian striker Juan Luis Anangonó, who on Tuesday led Comunicaciones to win the Concacaf League with a triplet, intends to continue on this Saturday (9:15 pm from Ecuador) when his team receives Iztapa for the quarterfinals of Guatemalan football.
Anangonó scored three goals in the final of the international tournament against Honduran Motagua and gave the Concacaf League title to Comunicaciones, which must now change the mindset for the local soccer 2021 Apertura tournament.
The 32-year-old striker will be present at the Comunicaciones attack to face the second leg of the tournament’s quarterfinals against Iztapa, after a week ago, in the first leg, both teams drew goalless.
