FIFA forced footballer Norman to pay Rostov for terminating his contract
The International Football Federation (FIFA) tribunal ordered Norwegian striker Mathias Normann to pay Rostov compensation for early and unjustified termination of his contract. Nettavisen reports this with reference to the organization’s documents.
According to the source, the footballer will have to pay 2.9 million euros. It is noted that if the legionnaire refuses to fulfill the obligation, he may be disqualified.
On August 9, 2023, Norman sent Rostov and Dynamo Moscow a notice of contract termination due to the fact that drones crashed into the Moscow City building. Then, citing these circumstances, the legionnaire left the country.
From 2019 to 2021, Norman played for Rostov, after which he spent a year in the English Norwich on loan. In the fall of 2022, the player was again loaned to Dynamo.
