Chimy Ávila leaves Osasuna and signs for Betis
Euskaraz irakurri: Chimy Avilak Osasuna utzi du, eta Betisek fitxatu du
Chimy Ávila has left Osasuna and signed for Betis, as confirmed by the Navarrese club this Thursday night, a few hours before the market closes. The operation has been closed for an amount close to six million, Osasuna has reported.
As the Navarrese club has specified, Osasuna will receive four million euros from Betis, which could reach 4.7 depending on variables for matches played during his stay in the Sevillian entity. Osasuna, in addition, will receive all the full amounts after the resignation of the player and his agent the percentage of the capital gain that is included in his signing contract.
At the same time, Osasuna takes over an additional 10% of Raúl García’s property, of which it had until now 65%, which means it now has 75% of said property. That 10%, highlights the club, “has been valued at one million euros taking into account the six million euros paid by Osasuna last summer for 65% of the footballer.”
Finally, Osasuna has demanded that Chimy Ávila renounce a part of his pending salary, to reach the six million euros that it demanded to be able to close the transfer. In addition, Osasuna will retain 20% of the capital gain from a possible future sale of the Argentine footballer, in the event that Betis transfers him to another club.
The Argentine player, who turns 30 on the 6th, has played for four and a half seasons in Osasuna. He has featured for the Pamplona team in 123 official matches, in which he has scored 28 goals.
In recent days, the footballer has been linked to Betis, a club that has finally signed him. Although the player’s entourage had indicated his intention to sign for the Andalusian team, Osasuna had stated that he did not want to part with the forward, which, ultimately, has closed his stage in the Navarrese entity.
