Lokomotiv signed a contract with French footballer Gerzino Niamsi
Lokomotiv Moscow has agreed with the French Strasbourg on the transfer of central defender Gerzino Niamsi. This was reported on the railway website.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. The French football player signed a contract with the Russian team for 3.5 years. For the red-greens he will play at number 5.
Nyamsi has played for Strasbourg since 2021 and has made 13 appearances in Ligue 1 this season. The Transfermarkt portal estimates his value at five million euros. The defender has three matches in the French national team, made up of players no older than 20 years old.
After 18 rounds of the current season of the Russian Premier League (RPL), Lokomotiv has 31 points. The Moscow team is in fourth place in the standings.
