Vitoria-Gasteiz wants to be the sub-host of the 2030 Soccer World Cup

The Alava Football Federation, through its president Kepa Arrieta, has been working for months so that Vitoria-Gasteiz can be a sub-host of the 2030 World Cup bid.
In collaboration with the city council of the capital of Álava and Deportivo Alavés, The objective is for the Betoño and Ibaia facilities to be possible training centers for the World Cup teams.
Last week, technicians from the Royal Spanish Football Federation visited both facilities to evaluate its characteristics and make the pertinent considerations so that these can receive approval as future sub-venues of one of the most important sporting events that exist.
The document with The candidatures will be made public throughout this year, once the technicians finish the evaluation process of the different options.
