Boxer Tyson Fury said that he will not lose the fight to Ukrainian Usik with an earring in his ear
British boxer Tyson Fury ridiculed a detail in the appearance of Ukrainian Alexander Usik. The Daily Mail reports this.
“I will not lose to a man with an earring in his ear,” the athlete wrote. In response, Usik stated that the earring is a symbol of the Ukrainian warrior – a Cossack who never loses a battle.
Fury and Usyk are scheduled to fight for the title of absolute world heavyweight champion on February 17, 2024. The fight will take place in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia).
Usik has 21 victories in 21 fights. He holds the World Boxing Organization (WBO), International Boxing Federation (IBF), International Boxing Organization (IBO) and WBA Super heavyweight championship belts.
Fury has 33 wins, one draw and no losses. He holds the World Boxing Council heavyweight championship belt.
