Ball in the first phase of Serie A Pro League 2024 will be moved from Friday, February 16 to June 2; and the second phase begins on August 4 and ends on December 4.

The system for this season has been retained with the finals in the fight for the tournament trophy, for which the winners of the first and second stages will fight; and in case the team wins these stages, it will be the direct champion.

The teams that will represent the Coast region are Barcelona SC and Emelec, both from Guayaquil; Orense SC, from Machala; and Delfín SC, from Manta.

For Sierra: Aucas, Cumbayá, El Nacional, Independiente del Valle, Liga de Quito and U. Católica, from the capital of the Republic; Macará, Mushuc Runa and university technician from Ambat; Imbabura SC, from Imbabura; and Libertad, from Loja.

The winner of the national tournament will qualify for the 2025 Copa Libertadores as Ecuador 1; runner-up, like Ecuador 2; and the third and fourth place in the overall table will be Ecuador 3 and 4.

And from the fifth to the eighth place out of the total, they will compete at the Sudamericana. (D)
