Moscow “Spartak” agreed on the transfer of Costa Rican national team striker Manfred Ugalde from the Dutch “Twente”. About this on social networks X reported journalist Fabrizio Romano.
The journalist said that the amount of compensation for the 21-year-old football player will be up to 15 million euros and this will be a transfer record for a European team. It is noted that the contract will last for 4.5 years. The possibility of the player’s transfer became known on January 23.
Ugalde moved to Twente in 2021. In total, he played 87 matches with the team, scoring 22 goals and providing 13 assists. The Transfermarkt portal estimates his value at five million euros. The forward has one goal in six matches for the Costa Rican national team.
