Chilean midfielder of CSKA Moscow Victor Davila assessed the safety of life in Russia. His words are quoted by Sport Express.
The foreign athlete said that moving to Russia gave him the opportunity to play European football. “There is some concern. But we understand perfectly well that Russia is one of the safest countries in the world, even despite the events in Ukraine,” he considered. The footballer called the level of security in Russia incredible.
In August 2023, Davila moved to CSKA. He signed a contract until 2027 with an option to extend for another year.
On January 6, three-time World Swimming Championship medalist Andrei Minakov compared Russia with Western countries in terms of safety. The athlete called Russia safer than the United States.
