The chief freelance specialist in medical prevention of the Russian Ministry of Health, Lyubov Drozdova, named a simple exercise that helps reduce blood pressure. Her words are quoted by “Arguments and Facts”.
To reduce blood pressure, the specialist advised hugging with loved ones. “Daily hugs can lower your heart rate and blood pressure. However, do not forget to consult a doctor on time and take prescribed medications!” – Drozdova noted.
The doctor also said that hugs reduce physical pain, improve sleep and strengthen the immune system. “People who hugged more often were less likely to get sick with ARVI, and if they did get sick, they had less severe symptoms,” Drozdova said.
Earlier, fitness trainer Dmitry Shcheblitsky spoke about the causes of joint pain after training. According to him, this is due to diseases of the musculoskeletal system, such as arthrosis, arthritis, osteoporosis, as well as residual tension or spasms of the muscle group.
