The head of the Russian Ski Racing Federation (FLGR), Elena Vyalbe, spoke about the attitude of American politicians towards Russia. Her words are quoted by TASS.
Vyalbe said that former US President Donald Trump and current head of state Joe Biden are the same in their hatred of Russia and envy. “And what? Don’t you need to work with them? You need to be able to communicate with everyone and look for opportunities. The only thing is, you don’t need to knock on closed doors and ask for something, you need to be self-sufficient people,” she added.
Earlier, Vyalbe said that foreign skiers may envy the Russians. According to her, the conditions at Russian competitions are better than at European ones.
Russian skiers are missing international competitions due to sanctions from the International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS). The skiers were first suspended in March 2022.
