Russian forward of the Minnesota Wild Kirill Kaprizov scored a hat-trick in the regular season match of the National Hockey League (NHL) against the Carolina Hurricanes. Data is available on the league website.
For the third time in his NHL career, Kaprizov scored three goals in one match. The 26-year-old forward became the first star of the game day.
The meeting ended with a score of 5:2. Juel Eriksson Ek and Jakob Middleton also scored for the winners. Martin Nekas and Michael Bunting scored for Carolina.
Earlier it became known that Kaprizov would take part in the NHL All-Star Game. Also included on the league’s list are New York Rangers goaltender Igor Shesterkin and Tampa Bay Lightning forward Nikita Kucherov.
