Inter Milan announces contract termination with midfielder Eriksen

A Inter Milan announced, on Friday, the contract termination with midfielder Christian Eriksen. The player was linked to the Italian club until June 2024.

This year, during the match between Denmark and Finland for the debut of the Euro Cup, the athlete suffered a cardiac arrest. As a result, Eriksen had a defibrillator implanted in his chest. However, the use of the device prevents the athlete from playing in Italian football.

“The Club and the entire Nerazzurri family embrace the player and wish him the best for his future. Even if today the paths of Inter and Christian separate, a strong and indissoluble bond will remain. The best moments, the goals and the victories, the embrace of the fans outside the San Siro in the celebration of the Scudetto: everything will be forever fixed in the history of the Nerazzurri”, published Inter.

The Danish midfielder joined the Milan team in early 2020, after a good spell at Tottenham, in England. For the new team, Eriksen won the Italian Championship.
