Stephen Williams wins the Tour Down Under by winning the last stage

The British Stephen Williams (Israel Premier Tech) was declared the final winner of the 24th edition of the Santos Tour Down Under, first World Tour test of the year, in which he defended with honor the Orange T-shirt which credits the leader scoring the sixth and last stage disputed between Unley and Mount Lofty128.2 km long.
After his second place at the top of Willunga, Stephen Williams (Aberystwyth, 27 years old), shone again in the Mount Loftywhere at the end of a 1.6 kilometer climb at 6.7% he prevailed over a group of 5 runners with a powerful sprint. With 3h.05.56 he won the fight against the Ecuadorian Jonathan Narváez (Ineos) and the Mexican Isaac del Toro (UAE).
Stephen Williams, winner of the 2023 Arctic Race in Norway, succeeds Australian Jay Vine in the list of winners (UAE), and on the final podium he was escorted by Jhonatan Narváez and Isaac Del Torothe Mexican runner who won a stage and revelation of the test.
