The representative of the organization emphasized that he does not yet know all the details. “We are in the process of identifying and appointing reputable independent analysts to review each of these athletes. People who have qualified have already passed one test, but the IOC will conduct a second one with the participation of independent organizations,” Adams said.
Earlier, the IOC said that six Russians and five Belarusians qualified for the Games in Paris. The names of the athletes were not announced. Now the athletes who have qualified for the Olympics are being checked.
On December 8, the International Olympic Committee announced the admission of Russians and Belarusians to the 2024 Olympics. They will be able to take part in the tournament as individual neutral athletes.
