CSKA signed a contract with a Zenit football player

CSKA signed a contract with Zenit football player Danil Krugov until 2028

The Moscow football club CSKA signed a contract with Zenit St. Petersburg defender Danil Krugov. This was reported on the army club website.

The agreement with the 25-year-old footballer will be activated on June 4, 2024 and will run until the end of the 2027/2028 season. It is noted that the contract provides an option to extend it for another year. Zenit said that until the end of the current season, Krugovoy will play for the second team.

In the current season of the Russian Premier League, the defender played 12 matches for Zenit, in which he was not effective. He joined the blue-white-blue squad in the summer of 2019.

After 18 RPL matches, Zenit is in second place in the standings, gaining 36 points. CSKA is in eighth place with 28 points. Krasnodar is in the lead with 38 points. The RPL will resume on March 3.
