PSG forward Kylian Mbappe said that it will be his turn to leave Europe
Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe answered a question about moving to a club outside of Europe. His words are quoted by GQ.
“It has become part of the cycle of this sport, and at some point it will be my turn to leave. I’m not worried about these changes. “I’m just thinking about continuing my career and following my own path,” Mbappe said. The PSG striker noted that with the departure of many great players from Europe, a new era in football began.
Over the past year, several award-winning European footballers have moved to Saudi Arabia. On December 30, 2022, the Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo moved to Al-Nasr. Brazilian striker Neymar transferred to Al-Hilal on August 15, 2023. Also, the Frenchmen Karim Benzema and Ngolo Kante and the Brazilian forward Malcom, among others, moved to the Saudi championship.
Some famous players moved to the USA. Lionel Messi joined the Inter Miami squad on July 15, 2023. The Argentine’s teammate was former Barcelona captain Sergio Busquets.
