Liverpool leaves behind Newcastle, but looks for an upset and remains firm in the hunt for the leadership of the English

On Thursday night, Liverpool got another victory in the Premier League. The team received in Anfield Newcastle, who went ahead in a beautiful goal, but suffered the upset not long after. The duel ended 3-1 for the home team.

Chelsea draws with Everton and misses chance to get close to the Leader

In another match this Thursday, Chelsea hosted Everton at Satmford Bridge. The Blues, needing the result to remain in the fight for the lead, even came out ahead, but took the tie. 1 to 1 was the final score.

The result leaves the home team in third place in the table, with 37 points. Everton is well below, in 14th, with 19.

For the next round of the championship, Chelsea will face Wolverhampton, away from home, at 11 am (GMT) this Sunday. Everton visits Burnley, also on Sunday, at 12pm.
