Footballer Tarasov said that he maintained his income level after retiring from his career
Former midfielder of the Russian national team and Lokomotiv Moscow Dmitry Tarasov, in an interview with the YouTube channel “40 Questions,” spoke about income after his career.
The athlete said that his income level is now comparable to what he had previously. He said that he had opened a business and was developing in various directions. “The level that I need to maintain a comfortable life is there. It has been preserved, there are plans to grow even more,” Tarasov added.
Tarasov is known for his performances for the capital’s FC Moscow and Lokomotiv, as well as Kazan’s Rubin. The midfielder played eight matches for the Russian national team and scored one goal. He is the ex-husband of singer and TV presenter Olga Buzova.
In May 2023, Zenit midfielder Alexei Sutormin compared the salaries of football players and teachers. He wanted teachers to be paid more, but called the high salaries in football justified.
