This is Tottenham’s second straight match not played due to the virus. The other would be against Brighton, in the last round.
Manchester United also have two games postponed. The duel between Burnley and Waford, which would take place last Wednesday, was not held. Thus, the Premier League already has five matches suspended by the outbreak of covid-19.
Last week, the Premier League announced more than 40 cases of the virus among players and members of technical committees.
