SBT will air the Christmas special “Neymar Jr. Entre Amigos”

Next Tuesday, at 11:15 pm (Brasilia time), SBT broadcasts with exclusivity, throughout Brazil, the Secret Friend “Neymar Jr. Entre Amigos”. The action will be in favor of Instituto Projeto Neymar Jr, which the attacker is doing in the city of Praia Grande, on the coast of São Paulo.

This is the fourth year of partnership between the network and the ace of Paris Saint-Germain, and the third edition of the program, which was directed by Vildomar Batista, from WNB Produções.

The famous game of exchanging gifts organized by Neymar, at the end of each year, won a strong team with great names in Brazilian and world sport. All came together to support the social work that impacts around 10,000 people (three thousand young people from 7 to 18 years old and their families).

For this edition of the program, the player chose 19 names of athletes that marked his professional career and personal life. Idols of different sports such as Ronaldo Fenômeno, Rebeca Andrade, Italo Ferreira, Messi, and much more, accepted the athlete’s invitation and played a part in fun moments, in addition to contributing to the cause.

“It was an honor to have great friends and idols that I admire and where I had the opportunity to follow their stories, cheer or play alongside them. These last two years were not easy, due to everything that happened in the world, even more because the Institute was closed and we stayed away from the children and their families”, said Neymar Jr., who maintained the INJR with his own resources during the two years in which he was behind closed doors on account of covid-19.

“Being able to count on the participation of everyone in this moment of recovery, to bring a little more joy to those who are watching at home, and at the same time tell the history of the Institute, is very gratifying”, he added.

Participating in the program for the first time, Rebeca Andrade, Olympic champion of artistic gymnastics in Tokyo, was one of the distinguished guests who accepted the invitation of Neymar and the Institute to record the program.

“Like Neymar, who has his Institute, when I was a child I started through an Institute and it made all the difference for me. Having these possibilities is a light at the end of the tunnel for those who don’t have so many opportunities or who have difficulties to get somewhere,” he said.

Another big name who confirmed his presence in the secret friend was Ronaldo Fenômeno. The world champion for the Brazilian team was honored to support this action promoted by the INJR, as he also carries out social work through the Fundação Fenômenos.

“We know the difficulties that all of us went through in the pandemic with a lack of resources, support and the difficulty in itself of working in the Third Sector. What I’ve seen is sensational work, just to see the numbers, there are 3,000 children served and many families impacted by this incredible work. It’s a wonderful job he does, it inspires a lot of people”, he declared.
