Russian mixed style fighter (MMA) Alexander Emelianenko responded to criticism from historian and publicist Yevgeny Ponasenkov, known online as Maestro. His words are quoted by VseProSport.
The athlete said that Ponasenkov is trying to seem as positive as possible, but, in fact, is an offended person. “A person does not know how to laugh at himself – that says a lot. What to take from him? Let it yapping on. And when he meets him at some event, he will smile and hold out a shaking handle, ”the soldier answered to the historian who had ridiculed him.
Earlier on December 16, Ponasenkov said that Emelianenko had no brains, and also considered that he could neither talk, nor read, nor write. The historian also noted that he was not familiar with Emelianenko, and he had already begun to threaten him.
40-year-old Emelianenko won 28 fights and suffered nine defeats in fights according to the rules of MMA, another fight with his participation ended in a draw. In his last fight at the AMC Fight Nights tournament, he lost to Brazilian Marcio Santos by submission.
