Krasnodar will offer Vladimir Ivich a new contract during the winter training camp

The leader of the current season of the Russian Premier League (RPL), Krasnodar, will offer a new contract to the head coach during the winter training camp in the UAE. RB Sport reports this.

The club is satisfied with the work of the Serbian specialist and wants him to continue leading the team. 46-year-old Ivich took charge of Krasnodar in January 2023, and the current contract with the coach runs until the end of 2024.

Under the leadership of Ivich, Krasnodar went into the winter break in the Russian Championship in first place. Based on the results of 18 rounds, the southerners scored 38 points and are two points ahead of Zenit.

Before coming to Russia, Vladimir Ivich worked as a coach of the Greek PAOK, the Israeli Maccabi and the English Watford.
With PAOK he won the Greek Cup, with Maccabi he twice became the champion of Israel.

On December 19, Ivic said that Russian football stadiums are better than English ones. Then the Serbian specialist said that in no other city in Europe had he seen such cleanliness as he saw in the cities of Russia.
