Zagitova ridiculed Medvedeva: it’s 2024, but someone is still in 2018
Olympic figure skating champion Alina Zagitova ridiculed the silver medalist of the Games Evgenia Medvedeva. She dedicated a post to her opponent on the Telegram channel.
“It’s 2024, and someone is still in 2018,” Zagitova wrote, accompanying the words with a “crying man” emoji.
Earlier, Medvedeva reproached coach Eteri Tutberidze for lying about her joy after winning silver at the 2018 Games. “Well, what happiness, what joy? What the hell is joy?!” – noted the athlete. She also left a sarcastic comment about Zagitova’s desire to launch her own show.
Medvedeva is a two-time world and European champion. At the Olympics in Pyeongchang, the figure skater won two silver medals – in the team competition and in the individual competition.
Zagitova is an Olympic champion and silver medalist at the 2018 Games. She also has victories at the World Championships and European Championships.
