Nigmatullin said that he stays fit thanks to yoga and Pilates
Former goalkeeper of the Russian national football team Ruslan Nigmatullin revealed the secret of maintaining good physical shape. His words are quoted by RT.
The 49-year-old ex-athlete emphasized that he never liked the gym and, being a professional athlete, tried to avoid going there. “I prefer stretches, like in yoga and Pilates. Swimming, especially underwater, also has a beneficial effect on the condition. It is in this way that I maintain good spirits and the desire to remain young, including at heart,” Nigmatullin noted.
He also talked about how much time a day he spends on staying in shape. “Spend is the wrong word. Rather, I enjoy health treatments. As a rule, this is two to three hours a day. And when I lived in Miami, sometimes I swam in the ocean for six hours and at the same time felt complete comfort,” said the ex-goalkeeper.
On December 26, the chief freelance specialist in therapy and general medical practice of the Russian Ministry of Health, Oksana Drapkina, named ways to remove belly fat after 50 years. She advised doing hip circles, side bends, straight leg raises, down bends and crunches.
