MMA fighter Mineev called for Kirkorov to be deprived of the title of People’s Artist
Russian mixed style (MMA) fighter Vladimir Mineev supported a petition calling for the deprivation of the title of People’s Artist of the country from singer Philip Kirkorov. The athlete reported this on his Telegram channel.
“There are eminent athletes who were deprived of the title of Honored Master of Sports for their anti-Russian position. Why are artists worse than athletes in this case?” — Mineev wrote. The athlete also noted that any entertainment event taking place in Russia at the moment has a dubious color, and folk artists should be close to the people.
The petition is posted on Change.org. At the moment, more than 52 thousand people have left signatures.
Earlier it was reported that Kirkorov’s official website was blocked. Prior to this, the artist was removed from the poster of the comedy “Ivan Vasilyevich Changes Everything” due to his participation in the naked party of host and blogger Anastasia Ivleeva.
