CSKA lost to SKA with a score of 0:2 in the KHL regular season match

CSKA Moscow lost to SKA St. Petersburg in the regular season match of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). This was reported by a Lenta.ru correspondent.

The meeting took place in Moscow at the CSKA Arena stadium and ended with a score of 2:0 in favor of the guests. Striker Ivan Zinchenko (38th minute) and defenseman Alexander Nikishin (58th minute, into an empty net) scored goals.

Thus, CSKA suffered its fifth defeat in a row in the KHL. Before this, the team lost to Dynamo Moscow, SKA, Yaroslavl Lokomotiv and Ufa Salavat Yulaev (the last two matches were in overtime).

After 44 matches, SKA ranks fourth in the KHL Western Conference standings with 59 points. CSKA is in sixth place with 48 points.

In the next match, CSKA will host Severstal from Cherepovets, and SKA will host Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg. Both meetings will take place on December 30.
