Tuktamysheva said that she earns no less in the show than in competitions
Russian figure skater Elizaveta Tuktamysheva compared the fees from performing in ice shows with the prize money for participating in competitions. Her words are quoted by Sports.ru.
“Of course, the most favorable situation for a skater is when a successful competitive season has passed – and then you have a great bet on the show, you are in demand at the very peak,” Tuktamysheva noted. At the same time, she added that she now receives no less in the show than if she had successfully performed in competitions.
Earlier, Tuktamysheva spoke about the most expensive purchase from prize money. According to her, this is an apartment in St. Petersburg.
On October 22, world and European champion Tuktamysheva announced her decision to take a break from her sports career. The figure skater will miss the 2023/2024 season. She explained that she wants to spend more time with loved ones, develop, get enough sleep, relax and work on personal projects.
