Shulga stated that it is necessary to include the load in all planes and across the entire range of functionality. “To tighten your inner thighs, you need to not only perform leg tucks in the machine, but also add various dynamic side planks with movement, cross-step running, and functional side lunges to your workout,” she noted.

The trainer advised doing a large number of repetitions with light weights, from 30 times per set. “The frequency of repetitions and the characteristics of female hormonal levels eliminate the possibility of hypertrophy – an increase in muscle volume,” she added.

The trainer also recommended spending time on stretching and massage. Thanks to this, blood flow improves, swelling goes away, and muscles recover faster.

In addition, Shulga emphasized the importance of proper nutrition. She suggested consulting with a nutritionist so that a specialist could suggest how to work in a specific situation.

Earlier, Shulga appreciated the benefits of fitness corsets. “A fitness corset should only be used in exercises with critical weights, when there is a real risk that the abdominal muscles will not withstand the load,” she said.
