Dynamo footballer Fedor Smolov called the fan who criticized him “poverty”
Dynamo Moscow forward Fedor Smolov got into an argument with one of the fans on Instagram (the social network is prohibited in the Russian Federation; belongs to the Meta corporation, which is recognized as extremist in Russia and is banned).
In the comments to the footballer’s latest post, a fan asked a question about when Smolov would win the promised Russian Cup. In response to this, the forward called the fan poverty, and the user who criticized him switched to obscene language.
In April 2023, Smolov called the journalist a clown after the team was eliminated from the Russian Football Cup. The correspondent asked a question about the 33-year-old football player’s promise to win a trophy for the fans and ran into insults.
Smolov joined Dynamo in January 2022. He twice reached the final of the Russian Cup with the team, but did not win the trophy. The footballer is also known for his performances for Krasnodar, Ural, Anzhi, Lokomotiv and the Spanish Celta.
