Vice-President of ASA Badaev: the fans who threw bottles at Mokhnatkin were emotional

ACA Vice President Aslanbek Badaev explained the incident at the ACA 168 tournament in Moscow, at which Russian mixed martial artist (MMA) Mikhail Mokhnatkin was pelted with bottles. His words are quoted by MMA.Metaratings.ru.

“The guys stopped in time, they were emotional, they didn’t understand something, they wanted to get involved, not to offend their pet. But there was nothing serious there,” Badaev said. In his opinion, the right words were spoken to the fans, which is why the sports festival was not spoiled.

On December 25, Mokhnatkin was pelted with bottles after a fight at the ASA 168 tournament in Moscow. The athlete lost ahead of schedule to Faridun Odilov from Tajikistan. After this, spectators threw several bottles towards the 33-year-old Russian and his seconds.

Mokhnatkin now has 15 wins, five losses and two draws. Odilov has 17 wins, two losses and two draws.
