After the announcement of his retirement due to heart problems, Sergio Aguero received a tribute from his friend Lionel Messi on social media, this Wednesday.
“Practically a career together, Kun… We had beautiful moments, others not so good, but they all made us more and more united and friends. Let’s keep living like this off the field. (…) I’ll miss being there a lot. with you on the pitch and of being together for the national team,” published the Paris Saint-Germain striker.
In addition to Messi, Aguero received affection from the clubs that were part of his career: Independiente, Atlético de Madrid, Barcelona and Manchester City.
“The facts speak for themselves: Sergio is simply the most relentless striker in Premier League history,” reported the English team.
“The facts speak for themselves – Sergio is quite simply the most ruthless striker in the history of the Premier League. It is extraordinary that his statistics, more reflective of two careers, are in fact those of a player whose time in the game was cut short.” pic.twitter.com/JMx9syu3xS
