Baskonia confirms Mannion’s departure

Baskonia confirmed this Thursday the departure of Italian player Nico Mannion and is looking for a replacement in the market. Mannion did not fully adapt to his role in the Basque team either with coach Joan Peñarroya or with Dusko Ivanovic and in several games he did not take the field.
The point guard arrived in Vitoria this summer with a two-season contract but has reached an agreement with the Barça club to break his relationship after three months of competition and poor numbers in both competitions.
The club wished the player “the best of luck”, thanking him for his work.
Everything points to Mannion returning to Italian basketball.
