Russian figure skater Evgenia Medvedeva bought a cockatoo parrot that was involved in a criminal case. NTV reports this.

“They tried to steal him from a pet store, then they interrogated him intensely at the police station, made him an evidence in a criminal case, and then returned him back to the store. And all this over the past six months,” the material notes. Now the bird lives in Medvedeva’s country house. The cockatoo was named Yuki, which means “snow” in Japanese.

Earlier, Medvedeva spoke about the first luxury item that she bought for herself. According to the athlete, it was a Cartier ring. “It’s important for me to understand that I have this and it doesn’t affect my condition,” she shared.

Medvedeva is a two-time world and European champion. At the 2018 Olympic Games in Pyeongchang, the figure skater won two silver medals – in team and individual competitions. Currently, the athlete, who has completed her career, runs her own YouTube channel.
