Zenit defender Krugovoy complained about rising prices with the same salaries
Zenit defender Danil Krugovoy spoke about rising prices in Russia. His words are quoted by Metararings.
“Bread now costs 100 rubles, although previously you could buy it for 20 rubles. So, football players are also feeling the rise in prices? Yes, of course, like all people,” said the player, adding that he did not notice the increase in the price of eggs, since he does not eat them often. Krugovoi complained that with rising prices, wages remain the same.
In the current season of the Russian Premier League, the 25-year-old defender played 12 matches for Zenit, in which he was not effective.
Earlier, the head of the Ministry of Agriculture, Dmitry Patrushev, promised that batches of chicken eggs, free of import duties, would arrive in Russia in two to three weeks. This measure should adjust egg prices within the country, he noted.
