Slutsky told Sobchak about the negative sides of Russia and remembered the USSR

Former head coach of the Russian national team and coach of Rubin Leonid Slutsky, in an interview with journalist Ksenia Sobchak, voiced the negative aspects of life in Russia. The full video is available on YouTube.

The 50-year-old specialist noted that in Russia he does not like corruption, as well as servility. He separately noted the desire of local bosses to “snatch something”, breaking through to power. Slutsky also argues that officials in Europe are more responsible in their duties than in Russia.

Slutsky sees the roots of the problems in the era of the USSR, where, according to him, everyone was a “thief”. According to the coach, Soviet citizens systematically took things from enterprises that they did not always need. Sobchak called it a grasping reflex and the Rubin coach agreed with this definition. He added that this quality was passed on.

Slutsky is known for his work in the “Wings of the Soviets”, FC “Moscow”, CSKA. She also worked abroad. In England, a Russian specialist was in charge of Hull City. In the Netherlands he worked at Vitesse.
