Monaco coach Hütter complained about Golovin’s absence in the match with Lyon
Monaco head coach Adolf Hütter commented on the team’s defeat in the 16th round match of the French Ligue 1 from Lyon. His words are quoted on the Monegasque website.
The specialist complained about the absence of Russian midfielder Alexander Golovin. “We clearly missed him in attack, although Manes Akliush played quite well. We didn’t deserve to lose. But sometimes with complete dominance you can’t score,” said Hütter.
The meeting took place on December 15. Monaco was defeated with a score of 0:1. Golovin did not take part in the game due to too many yellow cards.
This season, Golovin played 14 games in the French championship, scoring five goals and two assists. After 16 matches, Monaco is in third place in the standings.
