Venezia easily beat second-division Ternana thanks to goals from Belgium’s Daan Heymans (49), Slovenia’s Domen Crnigoj (66) and Francesco Forte (81), while the opposing goal was scored by Stefano Pettinari (53).
Udinese, on the other hand, easily got rid of Crotone, in the second division, with a double from Argentine Ignacio Pussetto (20 and 62), and goals from French Sebastien De Maio (28) and Nigerian Isaac Success (41 penalty).
In the third game, between teams from Serie A, Genoa beat Salernitana with a goal from Ghanaian Caleb Ekuban (76).
